Jo Turner, Manager Live Events

My background is in the live events industry where I have an established track record of 19 years proven success. This was invaluable when I was asked to join d3 to work alongside former colleagues and act as a manager within the live events division.

I am responsible for the planning, execution, and finalization of our projects, adhering to strict deadlines and within budget. This includes acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, third-party contractors or consultants, in order to deliver projects effectively. I work with our clients to define their business objectives and oversee our quality control throughout the life cycle of each project.

My specific responsibilities include every aspect of project management, communication with our clients, negotiations with our supply chain, budgetary requirements and the measurement of our success in delivery for our clients.

Prior to joining d3, I had worked in sales for a company that designed and built exhibition stands. I then moved to a small events and graphic company where I was helped to deliver conferences and eoad shows. Subsequently I joined a larger marketing agency where I worked on more complex and larger scale projects in a number of worldwide locations. I have gained specific experience working within the financial, telecommunications and medical sectors.

When I’m off duty I like to spend a lot of time with my family, I also love to cook, listen to music and socialise, so what could be better than doing all 4 of my favourite things, as often as possible!
